Mica sent me an e-mail last August 6 inviting me to attend the first ever Belo Open House for Bloggers @ the Belo Medical Group, Tomas Morato Avenue, Quezon City. Superfriend received an invite, too, so we excitedly marked our calendars for August 16.We arrived at the venue past 6pm, but the program has not started yet. There were more than 30 bloggers to have a sneak preview of Belo Medical Group's latest beauty breakthroughs and to try samplings of their signature treatments.
After Dr. Hayden Kho gave us a lecture of how important the revitalization and enhancement of our face, skin and body are, he also discussed ways, tips and approaches on how BMG can help us to become more confident and healthier inside and out. As Dr. Kho enumerated medical applications - surgical and non-surgical - that they offer to clients, Dr. Vicky Belo interjected the the brief history of the BMG. Dr. Belo was emotional as she relayed to us her purpose in establishing medical clinics like hers. The discussion ended up by treating the participants with trials of Belo services.
Superfriend and I first tried the Tenor treatment, a radiofrequency technology equipment which burns the fat from the desired part of the body. We also had the Visia, a skin complexion analysis, which measures the percentage of bacteria, large pores, wrinkles, black and white heads, and roughness of the skin. A Belo representative recommended skin cleaning and power peel for me.
Next stop: Dinner @ Packo's Grill with co-bloggers and Belo Medical Group people, including Dr. Hayden Kho. The food was great and the gathering was fun. I happened to meet in person Jehzeel Laurente, one of the first blogmates I have when I started blogging. And of course, I am very glad to share with you that I finally met Ms. Janette Toral of digitalfilipino.com and my plurk buddy, Ms. Yoga Jane of Here's to Life! Nice meeting you po!
So, Mica, when will the second Belo Open House be? Don't forget to invite us again, huh? Again, thank you so much for inviting us!
