Am I Really Lucky in Raffle Draws?

My friends always tease me I am lucky in raffle draws. Although I already have a house and lot in Tanza, Cavite, which I won from our company's raffle contest, got the MTRCB Deputy ID Card which serves as a one-year free pass to unlimited movies in all theatres nationwide, and won 2 P500s during two consecutive Christmas parties in the office, I don't think it's luck. I prefer to believe that it is fate. Perhaps God thinks I badly need these ones.

I won a new unit of MP3 player during the Oktoberfest 120 Na! for Bloggers last September 26. At first, I was praying not to be called by the hosts as I didn't want to participate in parlor games, especially when drinking beer is involved. Mahina ako'ng uminom eh saka I'm shy. But when my name was announced as one of the lucky winners of a Creative Zen music gadget, I hurriedly ran to the organizers' booth and claimed my prize, with no looking back. Now, I have uploaded 200 songs in Empoy (Yeah, I gave my player a name). 300 more songs to go! Thanks to the sponsors, thanks to San Miguel!

Speaking of raffle draws and winnings, on October 1, I was declared one of the winners in the Delifrance Couture Tray Contest of the ever gorgeous Ms. Aileen Apolo, requiring participants to answer the question, "What Kind of Food Are You?" and tell creatively what Delifrance Tray Couture (Henri, Amelia, Cherie or Philippe) best describes you. Lucky I am, I won again!

I just laugh out loud everytime I re-read my answer. So shallow yet so true. I only put into words the first ideas relating to chicken, garlic and ME that crossed my mind in that tick of the clock. The end really justified the means. See, I won again! Hahaha!
